I talk to you
when you can't hear.
I sing for you
when you're not near.
I pretend to let you in,
on my thoughts...
Imagine letting you call
all my shots.
You see through my eyes
as if you were me.
There can be no lies
in this fantasy.
All the 'what ifs',
'had beens', and 'almosts'
are routinely relived...
When talking with ghosts.
