Precipice of Bliss
Written on 04.29.21
The fragility of my bliss
Is the very thing that disrupts it
The tenderness of such a kiss
Impels me to give in and submit
So desperately I seek
A euphoric surrender
A realm so unique
I succumb to it's splendor
Yet agony is in my periphery
Love dangles over a precipice
Paradise remains a mystery
Utopia awaits it's genesis
For the delicate strings of life holds
The weight of all our treasures
Stray scissors in the dark beholds
Open eyes from the greatest pleasures
